Questions

Will you fix my kid’s drawing?
Never. Odd legs, extra eyes and impossible anatomy all stay. At the first two Derp-O-Meter settings the shape stays locked or very close; the higher settings get wilder on purpose, and only if you choose them.
How do you make the pages?
An AI art director studies each drawing and lists every feature to keep. An AI illustrator (from OpenAI) draws the page using your drawing as the reference. The art director compares the result feature by feature and sends it back if anything was “fixed”, up to three tries. If it still isn’t sure, you pick your favourite version, or ask for one final redraw.
Why only one sample page?
Samples cost real time to make, and part of the fun is opening the book. You see one page at your chosen setting; the rest is a surprise.
Is my kid’s artwork private?
Yes. Uploads are private to your account, never published and never used to train AI. You can delete them any time. See our privacy policy.
What stops inappropriate uploads?
Our Clean Content Filter screens every upload and every generated page. Anything explicit is blocked and never makes it into a book.
What paper and binding?
Custom books are US Letter, coil-bound so they lie flat, with each original drawing printed opposite its colouring page so markers don’t bleed onto the next picture.
How long does it take?
Your pages are made within a few hours of ordering, printed in 3–5 business days, then shipped. We email you at every step.
Where do you ship, and why does the price change?
Canada, the US and many other countries (see shipping). Shipping is included, so the price depends on where the book goes. Our printer charges in US dollars, so prices are updated weekly.
Do I get a digital copy?
Yes. The last page of every custom book has a QR code. Scan it with your phone when the book arrives, and the PDF unlocks in My books so you can print pages to colour again.
Can I get a refund?
Books are printed just for you, so printed and delivered books can’t be refunded. AI results depend on your uploads and are partly out of our control, which is why you see a sample first. Damaged, misprinted or lost books are reprinted free. See our terms.
